On Friday, Nov. 4, over 20 current and former college and university presidents met at New York University for a forum on policies and practices related to the health and wellness of college students. The colloquium, entitled “New Thinking on Student Health and Wellness,” was spearheaded by John Sexton, MCF Chairman and President Emeritus of NYU The conversation spanned student health problems, addressing topics from the escalating rate of mental health issues to creating communities of belonging so students can thrive academically and emotionally.
